What is an EMG?
  An electromyogram (EMG) measures the electrical activity of muscles at rest and during contraction.
Who needs to use BalanceTrak?
  Patients that suffer from dizziness and other balance disorders use the BalanceTrak to properly diagnose the disorder and target the problem area.
What does a VNG test?
  A VNG tests your inner ear and motor functions through infrared cameras. Comfort is key when utilizing this test. By keeping the patient more relaxed, more consistent and accurate results are achieved.
What is a DME evaluation?
  Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is used to establish your level of health and pinpointing the area in which we will focus our attention.

What is a Physiatrist?
  A physiatrist is a physician who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation and treats patients of all ages, primarily in three areas of medical care: Physiatrists offer a broad array of treatments, but they do not perform surgery except for minor wound debridement. They prescribe medications, prosthetic devices, orthoses and assistive devices. They also prescribe physical therapy for heat and cold therapies, electrotherapies, massage, biofeedback, traction and therapeutic exercise as well as occupational and speech language therapies. Some physiatrists receive additional training in spinal intervention techniques and acupuncture to treat pain.
